The dining room at Carmine’s

Our Story

Italian Roots. A New Chapter.

Carmine’s is built on a simple idea: good Italian food brings people together. What began with Chef Carmine Delli Bovi’s roots in Battipaglia, Italy has grown into a Cottonwood Heights restaurant centered on food, hospitality and the kind of dinners people remember.

Chef Carmine Delli Bovi

Meet Chef Carmine

Born and raised in Battipaglia, Italy, Chef Carmine Delli Bovi began learning traditional Italian recipes at an early age alongside his Nonna. He later studied at Instituto Professional Alberghiero di Stato Roberto Virtuoso and trained at the 5-star Grand Hotel La Sonrisa in Napoli, developing the foundation that would shape his career in Italian cooking.

In 2017, Carmine opened the restaurant that carries his name. His approach is grounded in Italian tradition but not stuck in the past: familiar flavors, thoughtful technique and food meant to be shared around the table.

The Carmine’s Experience

A New Chapter

Today, Carmine’s Italian Kitchen + Lounge carries that foundation into a new chapter. The dining room is warm, polished and welcoming, while the Lounge represents another side of what Carmine’s is becoming. Together, they give us room to evolve the experience while staying rooted in the food and hospitality that define Carmine’s.

Our Philosophy

We believe hospitality should feel personal, quality should never feel pretentious, and a great restaurant should be easy to return to. Food matters. So does the welcome, the table, the room and the reason you want to stay.

Italian food. Made for gathering.
